It's getting to that time of year - FAT BIKE SEASON!
Here at Subversive, we're gearing up for the Atwood Fat Bike Race Series that takes place over the course of 4 races at Atwood Forest Preserve in New Milford, IL. When you live in the midwest, you know that half of our year is cold and wet and that's why fat bikes are so popular - you can still get out and ride!
That's why we're proud to announce we're Rockford's premiere SURLY dealer and what better way to bust onto the fat bike scene than on a SURLY Ice Cream Truck? Our philosophy at Subversive Cycling Co is that we're different - with some punk rock and BMX roots, we're not like the other bike shops, just like SURLY is unlike any other bike brand. We stand for the same things, including breaking away from the pack, and are proud to share this brand with our community!
While we have some SURLY Ice Cream Trucks in stock right now, we have some SURLY Wednesday fat bikes coming soon and we can also special order you an entry level REID fat bike, too!
